GOD said about Abraham, "For I know him, that he will command his children after him, and they shall keep the way of THE LORD to do justice and Judgement; that THE LORD may bring upon Abraham that which HE hath spoken of him." Genesis 18:19

"And he said unto me,  THE LORD before whom I walk will send HIS Angel with thee, and prosper thy ways." Genesis 24:40

"And he said unto them, 'hinder me not, seeing THE LORD hath prospered my way." Genesis 24: 56a

"They have turned aside quickly, out of the way which I commanded them; they have made for them a molten calf, and have worshipped it and have sacrificed thereunto and said, "these be thy gods O Israel, which have brought thee out of Egypt; and THE LORD said unto Moses, 'I have seen this people and behold,it is a stiff-necked people; Now therefore let me alone that MY wrath may wax hot against them; and that I may consume them, and I will make of thee a great nation." Exodus 32:8-10

"Now therefore I pray thee, if I have found grace in THY sight, shew me now THY way, that I may know thee , that I may find grace in THY sight, and consider that this nation is THY people." Exodus 33: 13

"And I looked and behold, ye had sinned against THE LORD your GOD and made you a molten calf; ye had turned aside quickly out of the way, which THE LORD had commanded you. And I fell down before THE LORD , as at the first, forty days and forty nights, I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned in doing wickedly in the sight of THE LORD to provoke HIM to anger." Deuteronomy 9:16-18

"And now Israel, what doth THE LORD thy GOD require of thee, but to fear THE LORD thy GOD to walk in all HIS ways, and to love HIM and to serve THE LORD thy GOD with all thy heart and with all thy soul, to keep The Commandments of THE LORD and HIS statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good." Deuteronomy 10:12-13

" I will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died; that through them I may prove Israel whether they will keep the way of THE LORD, to walk therein as their fathers did keep it, or not." Judges 2:21-22

"And he did that which was evil in the sight of THE LORD as his father Ma-nas-seh did, And he walked in the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served and worshipped them. And he forsook THE LORD GOD of his fathers, and walked not in the way of THE LORD. And the servants of Amon conspired against him; and slew the king in his own house." II Kings 21:20-23
